Born in 1996, Rachael Sevitt is a Scottish-Israeli poet who writes about womanhood in a refreshing, lyrical style. She graduated the University of Dundee with a First Class Honours degree in English and Film Studies, with a thesis focusing on the way pop music influences the readings of female characters in Hollywood cinema. She received the Joan Laing Award for Best Graduating English Student in 2021.

Rachael is the recipient of the 2023 Andrea Moriah prize in Poetry, and a current MA student in Creative Writing at Bar Ilan University. When she's not writing, Rachael enjoys playing Lana Del Rey and Taylor Swift songs on her guitar, romanticizing the mundane things in her life, and hiking by moonlight.
